Right now, KeepTube can only download videos from YouTube, we will support other famerous web sites soon.

  
 

There are three tabs in the KeepTube main window, "Play Center", "Download Center" and "WWW"

1. Play Center

In Play Center, you can play videos in any folder or favorite play list.

2. Download Center

In Download Center, you can download videos and watch the status of all the downloading files.

You can also play any video in the downloading list by double click the file name.

3. WWW

In WWW Tab, you can go to YouTube web site, find your interested video and download it by click "Downlaod" Button.

 
1.How to download videos from YouTube?
   There are two ways you can download videos.
1.1 Download videos from "WWW" tab

 As showed in next picture, you need next steps to download a video from WWW tab

1. Click button "YouTube", this will direct you to YouTube web site.

2. Find the video that you want to download, in the picture, the video is the song "Yesterday Once More"

3. Click button "Download", it will prompt a message box for you to input the file name that you want to save as.

4. The download status will be shown in "Download Center"

5. Now KeepTube will handle this video, You can download another video or play the downloading/downloaded videos.

 
 
1.2 Download video from "Download Center"
 
If you don't like to use "WWW" tab to download video, you can also download videos from "Download Center", first of all, you need to know the URL of the web page that contains the video, for example, if you are interested in Celine Dion's "A New Day Has Come", you can find it in YouTube as next picture, the URL is in the red rectangle.

Next step is copy the URL and paste it in "Download Center" of KeepTube, input the file name that you want to save, click  "download" button to start the download. it shows in next picture.

 
2.How to control download status

You can pause , resume download, delete file and play video from the pop-up menu.
3.How to play videos
1. "Download Center"

In the "Download Center", you can play any video in the downloading list by double click the name.

2. "Play Center"

In the "Play Center", you can choose a bunch of files to play, either by choosing a folder or a play list.

If a folder was chosen, all of the .flv files will be in the current playing list, if a predefined play list was

chosen, all of the files in the list will be in the current playing list.

4.How to create/edit play lists
 
Click "PlayList Manager" in the menu. A dialog box will be prompted up to assist you create/edit play lists.
